Located in the market town of Wilmslow, Cheshire, Handforth Youth Centre, a facility for 13 to 19 year olds, was in need of new lighting for their on-site football pitch.
The sports lighting had failed, and having worked with LITE Architectural’s sister company, LITE Festive previously, Handforth Town Council reached out to find a suitable lighting solution for the area.
With careful consideration for budget, as well as the need for optimising the light distribution across the pitch to accommodate evening football matches, lighting solutions specialists LITE replaced the columns with 8 BVP650 ClearFlood lights in static white from market leading manufacturer Signify.
