Watford BID were looking for a creative and dynamic company to light up Watford town centre over the festive period. Looking to create a wow factor along the length of one of the longest High Streets in the UK. Within clearly defined practical constraints and the requirement to continue to attract visitors across Hertfordshire, other than the requirement for a large Christmas tree, the design and creativity was down to the imagination of the successful bidder.

Our successful tender was based entirely around the all new twinkly cloud controllable lighting system which allows the pre-programming of an entirely synchronised light show, with the ability for real time updates and show changes. Many of the features will remain permanently installed for celebrating special occasions throughout the year, offering real value for money, for a display that in the past would be seen for around 6 weeks.

We had to reduce our budget for festive light quite substantially from the previous two years, so were concerned we’d end up with a lighting scheme that looked significantly inferior, but the twinkly lights ensured we had the wow-factor we wanted.
