LITE has worked closely with Newark Town Council for many years, delivering festive lighting schemes that continue to evolve and enhance the town centre experience.
At the heart of Newark Market Square stands a 10.5m Twinkly Cone Tree featuring over 24,000 addressable RGB LED pixels, creating dynamic colour-changing effects, animations and festive graphics, all remotely controlled via the cloud.
An extensive overhead lighting canopy transforms the Market Square into a ceiling of light. For the latest season, the scheme was enhanced with a new RGB controllable canopy above the market stalls, providing vibrant colour-changing effects for festive celebrations and special events.
To complete the installation, LITE supplied and installed a series of permanent pole-mounted projection systems illuminating Newark Town Hall. Designed for year-round use, the projectors allow artwork and messaging to be easily changed to support a variety of events and occasions, including festive celebrations, Remembrance Day commemorations, weddings, civic events and town promotions, providing a flexible and engaging feature within the Market Square.
