When we first engaged with The Merrion Centre, their remit was simple – They wanted elegance with a magical feeling throughout. With this in mind we set about designing one of the largest ceilings of light we have ever presented. This ceiling not only covered the large atrium roof, it was also 3 dimensional by using large 7M drop golden curtains, giving an effect of raining gold throughout the area. This focal point was complimented by beautiful designer crossings with matching giant 3D gold leaf displays hanging from the ceilings around the centre. To give that extra WOW factor, a central 8M giant tree with 1000’s of twinkling golden lights became a real favourite spot for selfies and social media chat amongst the shoppers.
