The existing lighting of the iconic bridge was failing and had  heavy energy usage. 
                 Philips and LITE Ltd trialled the color reach with a mix of lens to be mounted on new columns. 
                 In total 12 were installed three for each column. Latterly to illuminate the bridge structure itself a further 4 were added. 
                 Energy consumption has dropped by 85% and the lights are controlled using a iPlayer located on the quayside.
