“Following an in-depth tender process in 2021, LITE were awarded a 3 year contract to; provide, install, takedown, store and maintain a new festive lighting scheme for Worcester city centre. The unique design concept of “flying angels” fitted neatly with other events provided throughout the year and certainly gave the required Wow” factor for the busy High Street in this thriving city centre. Other reasons for LITE being appointed were described by the client as, offering best value for money and design ideas never before seen in the UK. Most of the remaining shopping streets in the city were also decorated with large cross street displays with a similar colour palette and many of the deciduous trees were dressed for Christmas with twinkling gold mini-LEDs. The “switch on” event was very well attended and a great night was had by all. Comments on the night and subsequently both on social media and in face-to-face discussions, have all been very positive and the lights, described by some, as the most beautiful Worcester has ever seen.”
